When to go:
Anytime, although snow can block the summit road intermittently in the winter time. Highpoint State Park is also the location of the world's longest cross country trail containing man-made snow. The Appalachian Trail passing through the park as well.
Route Selection:
You can drive directly to the summit parking area and walk 100 yards to the top.
Hotel and Climb Reservation:
No guide, permit, or trail reservations are required. There is a small fee to enter the park during summer months.

Off of Route 23 in the Northwest tip of New Jersey.
