Getting There:

From Interstate 80 between Vacaville and Fairfield, exit onto Cherry Glen Road. Follow this road north and it will turn into Pleasant Valley Road in about a mile.  Continue going north for about 5 miles and turn left on to Mix Canyon Road.  This is a twisty narrow road that you will need to take for about 5 miles. It is a beautiful drive and you'll pass farms, alpacas, and you may feel you entered a time-warp. Look for a prominent pullout on your right opposite a gated gravel road on the left that leads to an array of LARGE towers (if you drive to the towers at the very summit of Mix Canyon road, you've gone a little too far).

Trip Description:

Park in the pullout and walk about a mile down the gravel road. Your objective is tower #20. If you walk behind the fenced area there are some nice rock outcroppings and drop-dead gorgeous views.
