Getting There:

From the town of Ogema, proceed west on Route 86 for 4 miles to County Road "C". Make a right and go 1 mile to Rustic Road #62. Make a left. The Timms Hill Park entrance will be about 1/4 mile on the left. The entrance is a one-way road. Proceed down the entrance road until you come to the trailhead parking area on the left.

 

Trip Description:

Timms Hill is located a few hours east of the Minneapolis/Saint Paul airport. A relaxing drive through farm country. Upon parking at the trailhead proceed approximately 1/2 mile on the well marked trail to the firetower on the summit.  There is a marker at the base of the tower. the tower is also open to the public and is the only way to obtain a view.  If time permits during your drive, try to make stops at the Mall of America and the "House on the Rock".
